Financial Assurance

All permitted hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal facilities are required to provide financial assurance for the costs of closure, post-closure, monitoring and corrective action.

Solid Waste

All permitted solid waste landfills are required to provide financial assurance for the costs of closure and post-closure maintenance and monitoring. All privately owned permitted solid waste processing facilities are required to provide financial assurance for the costs of closure.

Underground Injection Control (no current link or other information)

All permitted injection wells are required to provide financial assurance for costs to undertake environmental protection measures necessary to prevent contamination of ground water.
