Title 129 Proposed Rulemaking Postponed

The Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality (NDEQ) is announcing that the proposed amendments to Title 129 planned for the February 2015 Environmental Quality Council (EQC) meeting have been postponed.

The NDEQ would like to thank the stakeholders for their participation and feedback provided during the recent outreach process for the proposed revisions to the Title 129 – Air Quality Regulations. The feedback has been valuable to the drafting of the proposed Title 129 package.

With the transition to a new Governor occurring in a few days, it’s important to provide adequate time to brief the new administration on the proposed changes. We will keep you up to date on the progress of the regulation package, and if necessary provide additional stakeholder outreach.
