Comment Period Open for EPA Ozone Proposal

On December 17, 2014, the EPA proposed a revision to the National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) for ground level ozone (O3). The EPA proposal is to revise the primary standard to within the range of 0.065 to 0.070 parts per million and to revise the secondary standard to within the range of 0.065 to 0.070 parts per million. The current primary and secondary ozone standard is set at 0.075 parts per million. The EPA is accepting comments on the proposal until March 17, 2015.
