Serve as the primary receptionist for the agency. 

Provides administrative support for agency staff. Assists with development of draft correspondence as directed. Routes information to appropriate staff. Coordinates, plans, organizes, and carries out special projects. Prepares reports, forms, regulatory manuals, spreadsheets and other documents. Handles confidential information. Orders, distributes and maintains available office supplies.  Serves as primary receptionist for the agency. Answers and directs incoming phone calls on agency's primary phone lines. Provides information and communicates messages. Assists with safety, disaster and emergency evacuation procedures. Provides support to the Health and Safety Officer. Provides security, oversight and assistance during file reviews. Organizes documents. Assists with timesheet data entry.  Assists with indexing of agency program documents into the Agency's database by reviewing documents and searching for information. Reviews program files for consistency of documentation according to  Uses Microsoft Word and Excel to prepare correspondence, reports, complete forms, regulation manuals and other documents. Proofreads, corrects and edits rough draft, and final copy for accuracy. 

REQUIREMENTS: Experience in performing office/clerical or secretarial support functions, using personal computers and associated office software such as word processing and spreadsheets. 

PREFERRED: Coursework or degree in administrative/office support functions; one-year post high school education coursework/training in office management practices; secretarial support functions; or management/administration; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access preferred 

OTHER: Ability to lift 40 pounds. Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Knowledge of: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access

Skill in: The ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced customer service, team-centered atmosphere; Performing office support functions; English grammar, spelling and punctuation; Reasoning and analytical thinking
