NOTICE OF PERMIT ISSUANCE

The Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy (NDEE) proposes to reissue with change a Nebraska Pretreatment Program (NPP) permit to Syngenta Crop Protection, LLC, 410 Swing Road, Greensboro, NC d/b/a Syngenta Crop Protection, Inc. Omaha Plant, 4111 Gibson Road, Omaha, NE (NPP# NE0113930; SIC 2879). The facility formulates, packages and repackages pesticides and adjuvants for pesticides. It is also used as a bulk terminal for other Syngenta products not formulated on site. The facility is capable of performing limited washouts of product transport tanker trucks. Regulated wastewater is discharged through Outfall 001 to the Missouri River, Segment MT-10000 in the Missouri Tributaries River Basin via the City of Omaha Missouri River Water Resource Recovery Facility. The permit would be issued for a period of up to five years and would restrict pollutant discharges to comply with the requirements of Department regulations. The draft permit, fact sheet, and other public information are available for review at NDEE’s Lincoln Office (address below) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays.
