NOTICE OF PERMIT ISSUANCE
The Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality (NDEQ) proposes to issue a new National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit to Frederic Kiechel, Kiechel Fine Arts, 1208 O Street, Lincoln, NE (NPDES# NE0139033; SIC 5999), a retail fine art facility which discharges single pass heat pump wastewater through Outfall 001 to the City of Lincoln storm sewer system which flows to Salt Creek, Segment LP2-2000 in the Lower Platte River Basin. The permit would be issued for a period of up to five years and would restrict pollutant discharges to comply with the requirements of Department regulations. The draft permit, fact sheet, and other public information are available for review at NDEQ’s Lincoln Office (address below) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays. A determination to hold a hearing will be based upon factual environmental or regulatory consideration.
