The Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality (NDEQ) proposes to reissue without change a Nebraska Pretreatment Program (NPP) permit to Schneider Electric USA, Inc., 1717 Center Park Rd., Lincoln, NE (NPP# NE0114383; SIC 3613), a manufacturer of electrical circuit breakers. Metal finishing wastewater is produced by the processes of injection molding, metal stamping, plating, and assembly. The process wastewater is discharged through Outfall 001 to Salt Creek, segment LP2-20000 of the Lower Platte River Basin, via City of Lincoln Theresa Street WWTF. The permit would be issued for a period of up to five years and would restrict pollutant discharges to comply with the requirements of Department regulations. The draft permit, fact sheet and other public information are available for review at NDEQ’s Lincoln Office (address below) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays.
