The Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy (NDEE) proposes to issue a new National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for Patrick Madden for the Madden Residence WWTF, 17350 Red Sunset Court, Bennet, NE (NPDES# NE0139700; SIC 4952). This wastewater treatment facility is a privately owned treatment works that receives and treats domestic wastewater. Domestic wastewater discharges from a mechanical treatment system through Outfall 001 to an undesignated tributary of the Little Nemaha River, Segment NE3-50000, in the Nemaha River Basin. The permit would be issued for a period of up to five years and would restrict pollutant discharges to comply with the requirements of Department regulations. The draft permit, fact sheet, and other public information are available for review at NDEE’s Lincoln Office (address below) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., weekdays, excluding holidays. A determination to hold a hearing will be based upon factual environmental or regulatory consideration.
