Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality
Air Quality Division

Notice is given to the public, according to Chapter 14 of Nebraska Administrative Code Title 129 - Nebraska Air Quality Regulations that the Department is proposing to issue a construction permit to Fiberglass Products Inc (FID 58341), a fiberglass manufacturing facility (Standard Industrial Classification code 3089) located at 102 Grant Street, Aurora, Hamilton County, Nebraska. There is no anticipated change in emissions of regulated air contaminants due to the proposed revision.

Hamilton County meets the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for those pollutants subject to a NAAQS and is expected to continue in that status. No impact is anticipated on habitat for any rare or threatened species.

The Department has reopened construction permit CP17-049 for cause in accordance with Title 129, Chapter 15, Section 006. The reason for reopening the permit is to incorporate operation, maintenance, and recordkeeping requirements for booth filters that were inadvertently absent from the issued permit.

The proposed permit and supporting materials are available Wednesday, August 1, 2018 through Friday, August 31, 2018 at the NDEQ, Suite 400, 1200 "N" Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, and electronically at Comments received by the Department during this period will be considered prior to the final decision. Only comments received by the Department during this period on new and significantly revised conditions to the previous construction permit will be considered. During this period the applicant, or any interested person or group of persons, may request or petition the Director for a public hearing. The request must be in writing and state the nature of the issues to be raised and all arguments and factual grounds supporting their position. If a public hearing is granted by the Director, the hearing will be advertised by public notice at least 30 days prior to the hearing.
