The Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality (NDEQ) proposes to reissue without change a Nebraska Pretreatment Program (NPP) permit to LBT, Inc., 11502 I St., Omaha, NE (NPP# NE0030180; SIC 3715), a manufacturer of petroleum and liquid bulk tank trailers used in tractor trailer transport. The production process includes punching, forming, welding, assembly, washing and painting of steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Process wastewater is treated and discharged through Outfall 001 to the Missouri River, segment MT1-10000 of the Missouri Tributaries River Basin, via the City of Omaha Papillion Creek publically owned treatment works. The permit would be issued for a period of up to five years and would restrict pollutant discharges to comply with the requirements of Department regulations. The draft permit, fact sheet and other public information are available for review at NDEQ’s Lincoln Office (address below) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays.
