NOTICE OF PERMIT ISSUANCE
The Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy (NDEE) proposes to reissue with change a Nebraska Pretreatment Program (NPP) permit to Prince Manufacturing Corp., 612 N. Derby Lane, North Sioux City, SD d/b/a Hydraulic Components Industries, PO Box 187, Hartington, NE (NPP# NE0124435, SIC 3593). This facility manufactures hydraulic cylinders and valves mainly used in agriculture equipment. Metal finishing process wastewater discharges through Outfall 004 to the Norwegian Bow Creek, Segment MT2-11520 in the Missouri Tributaries Basin, via the Hartington publicly owned treatment works. The permit would be issued for a period of up to five years and would restrict pollutant discharges to comply with the requirements of Department regulations. The draft permit, fact sheet, and other public information are available for review at NDEE’s Lincoln Office (address below) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays. A determination to hold a hearing will be based upon factual environmental or regulatory consideration.
