NOTICE OF PERMIT ISSUANCE
The Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality (NDEQ) proposes to reissue with change the Nebraska Pretreatment Program (NPP) permit to Source One, 1030 SW 6th Street, Lincoln, NE (NPP# NE0138703; SIC 3544, 3599, 3479), a metal finishing and powder coating facility. Outfall 001 discharges process wastewater from the powder line washer, and non-process wastewater from a reverse osmosis system. Outfall 002 discharges process wastewater from the rinse water pretreatment system. Both Outfall 001 and Outfall 002 discharge through the City of Lincoln Theresa Street Water Resource and Recovery Facility (WRRF) to Salt Creek, LP2-20000, in the Lower Platte River Basin. The permit would be issued for a period of up to five years and would restrict pollutant discharges to comply with the requirements of Department regulations. The draft permit, fact sheet and other public information are available for review at NDEQ’s Lincoln Office (address below) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays.
