The Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy (NDEE) proposes to reissue without change a Nebraska Pretreatment Permit (NPP) to GSK Consumer Health, Inc., 10401 US Highway 6, Lincoln, NE (NPP# NE0000701; SIC 2833, 2834). This facility formulates and packages pharmaceutical preparations. Process and non-process wastewater are treated and discharged through Outfall 002 to Salt Creek; Segment LP2-20000 in the Lower Platte River Basin via the City of Lincoln Northeast Water Resource Recovery Facility. The permit would be issued for a period of up to five years and would restrict pollutant discharges to comply with the requirements of Department regulations. The draft permit, fact sheet, and other public information are available for review at NDEE’s Lincoln Office (address below) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays. A determination to hold a hearing will be based upon factual environmental or regulatory consideration.
