NOTICE OF PERMIT ISSUANCE The Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality (NDEQ) proposes to reissue with change a Nebraska Pretreatment Permit (NPP) to Arnold Magnetic Technologies Corp., 770 Linden Ave., Rochester, NY for Arnold Magnetic Technologies Corp/Ogallala Electronics Division, 601 W. 1st St., Ogallala, NE (NPDES# NE0114634; SIC 3499, 3679). The facility performs metal finishing, machining, finishing and assembly of magnets and solenoids. Process wastewater is discharged through Outfall 001 and Outfall 002 to the South Platte River, segment SP1-70000 of the South Platte River Basin via the Ogallala Wastewater Treatment Facility. The permit would be issued for a period of up to five years and would restrict pollutant discharges to comply with the requirements of Department regulations. The draft permit, fact sheet and other public information are available for review at NDEQ’s Lincoln Office (address below) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays. A determination to hold a hearing will be based upon factual environmental or regulatory consideration.
