NDEE Presents Nebraska EV Charging Station Rebate Program Webinar Sept. 30

The Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy will present a Nebraska Electric Vehicle Charging Station Rebate Program webinar from 11 a.m. to noon on Monday, Sept. 30. The webinar will provide information to businesses, government entities, and organizations wishing to apply for funding through NDEE’s Electric Vehicle Charging Station Rebate Program to install and maintain electric vehicle chargers that will be available for use by the public.

About the webinar: The EV Charging Station Rebate Program webinar will cover who is eligible to receive funding; the types of charging equipment, sites, costs that can be funded; and the cost-share requirements. It will also cover requirements for projects, sites, and charging equipment and the criteria that will be used to score applications.

About the presenter: Randy Smith is a Program Specialist II in the Energy and Assistance Division, where he coordinates the Clean Diesel Program and the Nebraska Diesel Emissions Mitigation Program that administers funds from the Volkswagen State Trust. He also serves as the Grants and Training Coordinator for the Air Quality Division. Randy is a graduate of Cornell University, the University of British Columbia, and the University of California Santa Cruz.

The webinar moderator is Belinda Fowler, NDEE Small Business Environmental Assistance Coordinator.
