NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the (Mayor and City Council) (Village Board of Trustees) of _________________, Nebraska will hold a public meeting on a proposed Engineering Report, for the construction of a (general project description) as required by the Department of Environment and Energy (NDEE) and other funding Agencies on (Date & Time) at (Location).

The purpose of this public meeting is to allow input into the planning of this State Revolving Loan funded (wastewater/drinking water) project on the part of the local citizens and any other interested parties, governmental agencies or groups.

All persons interested in the design, location and construction of the (wastewater/drinking water) facilities and the potential impact to the existing (sewer/water) rates are invited to appear and express their views.

Instruction Note only, not for printing: (For projects requiring a Finding of No Significant Impact Statement, National Environmental Policy Act requires a 30 day advertised notice, proof of publication will need to be submitted to NDEE. For projects qualifying for a categorical exclusion environmental statement, the public meeting is at the option of the board or Council and need only advertising time in accordance with state law)

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the (Mayor and City Council) (Village Board of Trustees) of _____________, Nebraska will hold a public hearing on (Date & Time) at (Location) concerning a Engineering Report for construction of a (general project description) as required for State Revolving Loan Funding from the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy (NDEE) and other funding Agencies.

The purpose of this public hearing is to discuss the proposed Engineering Report and the potential impact to the existing (sewer/water) rates. All local citizens and any other interested parties, governmental agencies, or groups are encouraged to comment.

Maps, drawings, and other pertinent data will be available upon request for public inspection by contacting the City Clerk. All persons interested in the design, location and construction of the (wastewater/drinking water) facilities are invited to appear and express their views. Written statements may be submitted prior to or at the time of the hearing.

For projects qualifying for a categorical exclusion environmental statement, a public hearing may be required by the Department and advertisement time need only be in accordance with state law.)
