Title 199 - NEBRASKA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY
Chapter 7 - UNAUTHORIZED USE OF GRANT FUNDS
001 Items for which funds will not be authorized shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
001.01 Any expenditure not approved by the Director shall be considered an unauthorized use of grant funds.
001.02 Reimbursement to employees for travel and other expenses greater than those rates and conditions of reimbursement approved for Department employees; except that this prohibition does not prevent grant recipients with other sources of income from supplementing the Departmental rate of reimbursement from the other sources of income.
002 Grants awarded pursuant to the Integrated Solid Waste Management Act may not be used to fund the following activities associated with landfills:
002.01 Landfill Closure Site Assessments;
002.04 Remediation Costs.
