- A fossil fuel-fired unit that cogenerates steam and electricity and supplies more than 1/3 of its potential electric output capacity and more than 25 MWe output to any utility power distribution system for sale.
Not subject to this subpart:
- Stationary combustion turbines (not including integrated gasification combined cycle turbines) covered under NESHAP YYYY.
- EGUs that are not coal- or oil-fired and combust natural gas for more than 10% average annual heat input for any 3 calendar years or for more than 15% annual heat input during any calendar year.
- EGUs that can combust more than 25 MW of coal or oil and did not fire these fuels for more than 10% of the average annual heat input during any 3 calendar years or for more than 15% annual heat input during any calendar year.
