Emission Guides for Small Municipal Waste Combustion Units

Applicability:
eCFR Subpart BBBB

This subpart applies to:
Small municipal waste combustion (MWC) units that commenced construction on or before Aug 30, 1999.
A small MWC unit has the capacity to combust at least 35 tons/day of municipal solid waste, but not more than 250 tons/day of municipal solid waste or refuse-derived fuel.
If the existing small municipal waste combustion units commences modification or reconstruction after June 6, 2001, then the small municipal waste combustion unit becomes subject to
NSPS AAAA
.
Physical or operational changes made to an existing municipal waste combustion unit to comply with this subpart are not considered modifications or reconstruction.
